Jewelry by Michaelle Pearson Old Lyme, CT Absinthine
Jewelry is inspired by history— from the opulence of the
Ancient World to the queenly jewels of the Renaissance and the
Victorian Era and the streamlined elegance of the Belle Epoque. Each
piece is crafted from unique materials such as carved gemstones and
bone beads, sustainable corals and baroque pearls.
Michaelle Pearson studied silversmithing, goldsmithing and enameling at the School of Visual Arts. She has written several articles about Victorian/Civil War Era Mourning Jewelry, and is a member of the American Society of Jewelry Historians. Absinthine Jewelry is available at the Florence Griswold Museum Shop and also by appointment. Michaelle accepts commissions for custom work, and especially enjoys creating unique jewelry for bridal parties. ** Gallery ** Select pieces available for sale at: The Florence Griswold Museum Old Lyme, CT Ebay.com and Arkivestry Lambertville, NJ email: mp@absinthinejewelry.com |
